A man from Chisinau died crushed between two cars. The vehicle that struck the man was driven by a drunken motorist. Tudor Capatana, spokesman for the General Police Commissariat, has told Info-Prim Neo that the tragedy happened on Monday evening several meters of a filling station located on Alecu Russo St, between Rascani and Ciocana districts. A Nissan Primera remained without fuel and the 49-year-old driver opened the trunk to take out a bottle of gasoline. At that moment, a Volkswagen-Passat driven by a 61-year-old man under the influence hit the Nissan Primera, crushing the man between the two cars. The man died on the spot, before his family's eyes. Several hours earlier, a Mercedes minibus struck a man aged 73 on Grenoble St in Chisinau. The man was rushed to the hospital with different injuries. The two road accidents that occurred in Chisinau on Monday, December 7, resulted in one death and one person hurt.
