Trolleybuses and buses whose routes pass along the Great National Assembly Square will be detoured on January 6 in order to allow the plaza to accommodate festivities dedicated to the Julian calendar Christmas.
In a press release, the City Hall said the detours will affect trolleybus routes 1, 4, 5, 8, 22 and 34, and also bus routes 5, 9, 11, 26 and 46. Additionally, the tourist trolleybus will be suspended at the weekend.
On January 7 and 8, trolleybuses and buses will be running on special holiday schedules, which can be looked up on the municipal company’s website. The suburban bus routes 12, 12, 21 and 36 will be suspended altogether during this period.
