The Chisinau apartment buildings classed as ‘problematic’ in the 2011-2012 heating season continue to be monitored. According to the supplier, the irregularities in 86 of the 112 ‘problematic’ buildings or 76.7% were removed by housing stock managers in cooperation with the dwellers, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from SA Termocom, since the start of the heating season the dwellers of the ‘problematic’ blocks have filed 21 petitions. In four apartment buildings, complaints came repeatedly from owners whose apartments are supplied with heat from nonfunctional columns. A dweller complained that his apartment situated on Piata Garii St is heated insufficiency as the scheme of the heating system was restored without taking into account the company’s recommendations. In an apartment building located on Banulescu-Bodoni St, the dwellers refuse to take measures to replace the column, as the housing stock managers and the heat supplier recommended the previous heating season. In order to ensure optimal thermal conditions in dwellings, Termocom recommends the housing stock managers and the dwellers of buildings where there are irregularities to take the prescribed measures after the 2012-2013 heating season is closed.
