4 teams got classified in the last stage of the Moldova Cup of women's basketball. After the playoffs, the teams Politehnica and Speranta from Chisinau met for a decisive match. At the end of an hot fight, the sportswomen from the Politehnica won with a difference of one point. The final score was 53 – 52. The Orhei basketball team won the third place, 71 – 57, in a game with the team of the Sports School from Tiraspol. The playoffs in the Men's Basketball National Championship will be played during the weekend.
