A number of 31 persons were hurt in road accidents in the municipality of Chisinau last week, municipal police chief Silviu Musuc said in Monday’s meeting of the City Hall, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. Six persons have suffered serious injuries, while 25 – minor injuries. The total number of traffic accidents exceeded 100. The police caught 32 persons driving under the influence of alcohol and imposed fines of 500,000 lei. Silviu Musuc said three persons committed suicide by hanging themselves. As many as 98 persons have killed themselves by hanging so far this year.
