The national airline Air Moldova decided to transfer its regular flights Chisinau-Paris-Chisinau from the international airport Charles De Gaulle to the regional airport Beauvais-Tillé, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué released by the company, the changes will come into force on May 18. The schedules of the flights will not be modified. The transfer will enable the airline to decrease the price of the plane tickets owing to the lower airport taxes and to reduce the costs of maintaining the airport. An additional advantage is the absence of restrictions on the obtaining of slots (the time during which an airline legalizes the arrival/departure operation for a certain date or period). Owing to this advantage, Air Moldova will be able to increase the number of Chisinau-Paris-Chisinau flights in summer, from two to three flights a week. The regional international airport Beauvais-Tillé is situated 75 km from Paris. More than 70 buses convey passengers daily from the airport to the center of Paris (Porte Maillot) and back during 1 hour and 15 minutes.
