The municipality of Chisinau will purchase four large snowplows that will remove snow from the main streets of Chisinau and the suburbs. The snowplows will arrive in Chisinau by December 25 and will be managed by the municipal road maintenance company “Exdrupo”.
Acting head of the General Public Transport and Communications Division Igor Gamretski has told IPN that the snowplows are multifunctional, are equipped with shovel and brush and can spread antiskid material.
The four last-generation snowplows Kamaz cost 5.2 million lei.
Currently, “Exdrupo” has 34 snowplows.
