In connection with the Easter holidays, the Chisinau City Hall provides financial assistance to almost 12,000 persons, IPN reports.

As many as 1,630 persons who are members of the Chisinau Local Organizations of the Association of the Blind of Moldova and of the Association of the Deaf of the Republic of Moldova will receive by a lump sum of 500 lei.

By 100 lei will be given to 9,182 older people, persons with severe, profound and moderate disabilities who benefit from travel allowances or season tickets for traveling by public transport whose pension does not exceed 1,450 lei and who are under the supervision of local social assistance offices.

Another 990 socially deprived persons will benefit from lump sums based on the filed applications following the assessment of their needs.

The money can be collected from post offices between April 20 and July 20.
