People living in Moldova are urged by the authorities of Chisinau to join the Earth Hour campaign. On Saturday, March 27, all the municipal buildings will switch off the lights for one hour, between 20:30 and 21:30, the Chisinau City Hall said in a press release, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The municipality joins this worldwide campaign for the second consecutive year to raise public awareness of problems related to global warming.
Chisinau will participate in this civic engagement of global importance alongside over 1,700 cities from around the world, including Chicago, San Francisco, Copenhagen, Sydney, Manila, Tel Aviv, Bangkok, Dublin and Toronto.
