Chisinau municipality City Hall identified territories where the private sector could be developed
The City Hall of the Municipality of Chisinau elaborates a plan for development of the private sector in the capital. The interim Mayor, Vasile Ursu, declared at the beginning of the current week that architects have already identified the territory where this sector could be developed.
According to his words, the areas where houses of one or two stories could be built are situated near the Dumbrava village, between Stauceni and the crossing of Criuleni and Orhei raions, the zone between the Airport and METRO mall from the Botanica district of the capital. Such territories could be identified in the zone near Ialoveni raion, added Ursu. A problem in this case would be the fact that many plots in this region have agricultural destination, so that their status should be changed.
Plots will be allocated only after the approval of the General Urbani Plan, which will be presented for examination to the Municipal Council till December 20, current year.
The Municipality decided last week to resume the process of plot repartition for building private houses. Starting from 2003, this process have been ceased, the decision being motivated by the fact that legal structures discovered illegalities committed at the distribution of plots for building houses by local authorities.
Municipal councilors solicited the Land Department to present, by the end of November, a regulation which would stipulate the categories of persons that can benefit from plots. At the same time, councilors requested that the presentation of the Concept on administration of Landed property of Chisinau Municipality is hastened.
