The Municipal Council made on Thursday’s meeting, July20, changes to the local budget 2006, in order to distribute those 17 million lei accumulated additionally to the budget. Of the accumulated sources, 5.4 million lei were allocated for paying the debts of the institutions financed from city coffers to the heat supplier, “Termocom” JSC. Other 7.5 million lei were allotted for repairing the education institutions of the municipality. Thus, the Chisinau Municipal Council is to find other 7.5 million lei for covering integrally the amount of 22 million lei, planned for preparing the schools and kindergartens for the new school year and the cold season of the year. The councilors also allotted 3.16 million lei for the children’s summer vacation in camps for August. The municipal police also was allocated 500,000 lei for purchasing gasoline and other 550,000 lei for purchasing 60 computers for police departments.
