The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) will analyse the information regarding the drafting of General Urban Plan (PUG) of the capital. This information will be presented at the next CMC meeting. The extraordinary meeting of the Council, interrupted on Thursday, 23 February, will continue on Tuesday, 28 February. The information regarding PUG drafting was required at the beginning of the extraordinary meeting, by the leader of the Christian Democratic People’s Party (PPCD) of CMC, Alexandru Corduneanu. He noted that it was not taken into consideration the proposal of PPCD faction that PUG to be considered item number 1 of municipality, when it is discussed about the resources foreseen for 2006. Corduneanu required during the examination of the budget for 2006 that PUG to be priority nr.1 this year. The municipality set recently that over-plan sources to be allocated as priority for Urban Plan, which is on the top of priorities list. Capital’s mayoralty, together with the National Institute of Researches and Drafts in the field of Land Management, Urbanism and Architecture „Urbanproiect” drafted the PUG schedule, this following to be presented to municipal council.
