Chisinau mayor will receive citizens each Friday
Starting today, the mayor of Chisinau, Dorin Chirtoaca will hear citizens’ grievances every Friday. The auditions will last the whole day with a lunch break from 12.00 – 13.00 and will take place in the Audience Room of the Chisinau City Hall, placed on the first floor of the institution, entrance from Vlaicu Parcalab Street.
Under a decision taken by the mayor, the deputy mayors of the capital will receive citizens each Monday, from 14.00. Scheduling for such hearings is done for both sessions in the audience room of the Chisinau city hall.
Specialists in the correspondence, petitions and audience department as well as the representatives from within the subdivisions of the mayoral apparatus will conduct daily audiences from 8.00 – 12.00 and 13.00 – 17.00.
The person in charge for the execution of the decisions taken by Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca with regards to audiences is Secretary Vladimir Sarban.
Such a practice was previously cancelled by the mayoralty on July 13, by one of the interim mayors, Vasile Ursu, due to the opening of the Information and Documentation Centre for Citizens. Another interim mayor, Veaceslav Iordan, retook this practice in February, organising such meetings, on the fourth Monday of the month, with the session lasting 5 hours. The then deputy mayor Petru Svet received citizens on the second Monday of the month and deputy mayor Alexandru Corduneanu – on the third Monday of the month at the same hours.
