Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca will suggest that the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) should dismiss the Council’s secretary Valeriu Didenco. In Monday’s meeting of City Hall officials, the mayor said that Valeriu Didenco favored the release of a plot of land to his daughter in Stauceni, which forms part of the municipality of Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Dorin Chirtoaca, two months ago the daughter of the CMC secretary moved from Ialoveni to Stauceni, where she was allotted a plot of six ares. “The human insolence astounds me. How can he say that he does not know why his daughter moved to Stauceni two months ago? Or maybe Valeriu Didenco thinks that everyone in Moldova is oligophrenic and understands nothing?” he asked. “The people wait for many years to receive land, but somebody can obtain it in two months. The Prosecutor’s Office will check the full list so as to prevent the illegal inclusion of other persons in it,” said Dorin Chirtoaca. Valeriu Didenco told the press that he did not help his daughter to obtain land. “If the City Hall decided to allot her a plot, it had reasons for taking such a decision,” he said. He added he will soon make revelations about Dorin Chirtoaca’s activities, which will put the mayor in a bad light. The mayor of Stauceni Valentin Satnic said they did not allot a plot, but put the given person on a waiting list.
