Chisinau mayor is now able to pursue his own goals, Communist councilor
The members of the Communist faction on the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) are indignant that two of their colleagues left the group and accuse the Party of Socialists of damaging the image of the Communist Party. “Not only we are incensed at such a gesture. The people who voted for the PCRM are also indignant,” the leader of the Communist faction Boris Golovin stated for Info-Prim Neo.
On January 31, the Communist faction will make a press statement on the new situation.
”We will continue to work and meet the needs of the Chisinau residents. Evidently, it would have been easier with 26 councilors, as the people voted. Now the mayor will start again to transfer the money from an account to another and will pursue his own goals. We tried to prevent it, but now he will be able to do this,” said Boris Golovin.
Chisinau councilors Elena Danu and Petru Dontsov Monday announced that they decided to leave the Communist faction and to create the group of Socialists on the CMC.
