Chisinau Mayor has dismissed reports that all the booths in Chisinau will be dismantled. He told a press conference today that only the booths installed without any authorization and those exceeding 12sqm in area will be taken down, Info-Prim Neo reports. “We don’t want to take away someone’s bread and butter or impede in any way the possibility of the municipality’s residents to earn their livings, but every enterprise must stick to the letter of the law”, declared Dorin Chirtoaca. The mayor also said that the owner of three booths in Botanica district which had been dismantled earlier this week pledged in a letter to remove three other illegal booths that he owned by himself within 5 days. As for new booths and kiosks, Dorin Chirtoaca has said their installation is banned since the city has already 4,000 such structures.
