A number of residents of Chisinau have been disconnected from the heat supply because of their debts for heat. According to SA Termocom, there were disconnected the end users that during the 2012-2013 heating season paid only up to 40% of the consumed heat, Info-Prim Neo reports. Ten consumers living on Pascani, Tabacaria Veche, and Haltei streets, with which the supplier signed direct contracts, remained without water. This week there will be disconnected other private houses and apartments with direct contracts that paid less than 40% of the consumed heat. They will be reconnected only after the overdue sums and the reconnection tax are paid. Termocom underlines that under a Government Decision the minimum monthly payment for heat during the heating season must be 40% of the value of the monthly bill.
