The 10th Congress of the Association of Surgeons “Nicolae Anestiadi” is taking place in Chisinau, brining together surgeons from Moldova, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Tajikistan, Info-Prim Neo reports. At the opening ceremony on October 3 the head of the organisation, academician Gheorghe Ghidirm, pointed out the importance of this forum for Moldova, given the opportunity it provides for an active exchange of professional information. He said it will be particularly beneficial for the patients of the doctors who will get familiarised with new methods of operative treatment. Renowned professionals as well as young surgeons, who have already proven their professionalism, will present reports on new methods in urgency, paediatric, oncological, heart, cystic duct, pancreas, stomach, and duodenum surgery. Experts will initiate their colleagues in the most recent information and clinical experience, the congress being the field for a very active exchange of professional information. The Congress is held at the Leogrand Hotel and will last until October 5.
