Chisinau hosts Polish Film Festival
Polish cinematography comes to Chisinau with a collection of the newest productions created by Leon Schiller school of Film, Television and Theatre from Lodz. During a week the screen of the “Gaudeamus” cinema will present 7 films of the most representative film directors, who graduated from the Lodz Film School, among them - Andrzej Wajda and Roman Polanski.
The Polish Film Festival, which starts on Friday, December 8 in Chisinau, is organized thanks to the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and the Bucharest Institute of Polish Culture, Info-Prim Neo reports.
During the Polish Film Festival, the screened films will be the following: “Pan Tadeusz” and “The Revenge”, directed by the great film-maker Andrzej Wajda, “Day of the Wacko” by Marek Koterski, “Supplement” directed by Krzysztof Zanussi, “My Nikifor”, by Krzysztof Krauze, “Persona non grata” by Krzysztof Zanussi, “Streaks” by Magdalena Piekorz.
All those who admire the Polish film school can benefit from free entrance for all the films presented during the festival. The films will be showed every day, starting 18.00.
