The German Cultural Center AKZENTE and the Goethe Institute are staging the sixth German Film Days at the Odeon Movie Theater in Chisinau on November 17 – 22. Entrance is free of charge, IPN has learned from the Embassy of Germany.

The festival is opened with the film “Victoria” by Sebastian Schipper on November 17. On November 18, there will be shown the movie “Age of Cannibals” by Johannes Naber, while on November 19 – “Absurdistan” by Veit Helmer. The movie “As We Were Dreaming” by Andreas Dresen will be screened on November 20.

On November 21, there will be shown “Home from Home – Chronicle of a Vision” by Edgar Reitz. The festival ends on November 22 with “A Year Ago in Winter” by Caroline Link.

The films will be screened with Romanian and Russian subtitles.
