A part of the funds of the Health Division and the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport of the Chisinau Council will be used to liquidate outhouses and replace them with sanitary facilities connected to the sewerage system, Info-Prim Neo reports. Outhouses are now used in the medical centers of Vadul lui Voda, Durlesti and Bacioi and in 22 schools and kindergartens. Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca said an assessment must be carried out to determine the costs of the project and draw up a work program for this year and then for the next year, until the problem is solved. A week ago, Dorin Chirtoaca said the outhouses in public institutions could be also replaced with the help of a German investor.
