Chisinau does not care about territory from left bank of Nistru, Russian official

The Moldovan authorities no longer think about the Transnistrian region, which is facing an economic blockade at the border with Ukraine, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, adding that the situation will be discussed by the Russian executive on March 20, IPN reports.

The Russian news agency Itar-Tass on its website reported that the men aged between 18 and 65 from the Transnistrian region, who have Russian citizenship, are not allowed to enter Ukraine. Dmitry Rogozin criticized this decision, saying he does not understand the reasons of the Ukrainian authorities as there are 200,000 Russians and 70,000 Ukrainians living in Transnistria.

The Russian official underlined that this decision is a serious violation by Ukraine, which is a guarantor-state in the Transnistrian conflict settlement process. Dmitry Rogozin called on the Russian authorities to show support for Tiraspol in this situation.
