The Chisinau District Electoral Council appealed the Râșcani Court’s decision concerning Andrei Donică in the Chisinau Appeals Court. It goes to the decision by which the ordinary court of law invalidated the Council’s decision not to admit the leader of the Professionals’ Movement “Speranța-Nadejda” to the competition for the mayoralty of Chisinau.

The information was confirmed for IPN by the Council’s head Viorica Gadîmba. According to her, the Chisinau District Electoral Council on Friday decided to suspend its non-admission decision until the Appeals Court pronounces its judgment.

The Chisinau District Electoral Council refused to register Andrei Donică as an election contender for the mayoralty of Chisinau for the reason that he had been registered as a contestant for the mayoralty of Condrița village.
