The Days of Chisinau Municipality in the Romanian county of Suceava will take place during August 19-22. The people of Suceava will be treated to a fair of folk craftsmen, a musical concert featuring composer Eugen Doga and the Advahov Brothers Orchestra. The folk singers Igor Cuciuc and Zinaida Julea will also perform, reports IPN.

The National Theater Satiricus will present the comedy “Pajama Tops” by Mawby Green and Ed Feilbert, on August 20 at the Matei Visniec Municipal Theater in Suceava.

During August 25-28, the Festival of Music will take place in Alba Iulia, and from September 2 to 4, musicians from Moldova, including the Municipal Popular Music Orchestra of the Advahov Brothers and the Chamber Orchestra “Camerata Chisinau” will visit another Romanian city, Piatra Neamț, where the Chisinau Days will also take place.

“We have many requests from our diaspora, we are thinking of organizing the Chisinau Days in Italy, Spain, Portugal, where there are a lot of our compatriots”, said Mayor Ion Ceban.

This year Chisinau Days events have already taken place in the Romanian cities of Buzau, Vaslui, and Botoșani. The events are part of the “Bessarabia greets Bucovina” project.
