Chisinau Council will meet tomorrow to discuss land issues
The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) will meet on Thursday, May 22, to discuss land issues. The councilors decided to devote a special sitting to these issues after last week several councilors objected to an overly busy agenda, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The councilors said then that the most important issues, including land-related ones, deserved priority on the agenda and shouldn't be postponed until the end of the meeting, as usually done. And the reason is that not all the councilors bother to stay through the meeting, while the remaining ones are usually too tired to pay proper attention.
Tomorrow's CMC business order includes debates on the organization of a public competition to select the administrators of land auctions in Chisinau. At the same time, the councilors are to examine the results of the beautification actions at the square of the National Opera House and approve the program for the restoration of the housing sector under a CMC decision of December 2007.
