The Chisinau Municipal Council comes together for a meeting on May 23. The councilors are to examine nine items that remained in the agenda from the previous meeting, the Council’s secretary Valeriu Didencu has told Info-Prim Neo. The issues include the granting of permission to use the local symbols for commercial purposes, the leasing out of rooms in public institutions and apartment buildings, and a package of draft decisions concerning land. The meeting starts at 10:00. In the previous meeting on May 15, the municipal councilors examined 24 items. The decisions on the approval of local taxes and the tax for owners of units of transport registered in Chisinau municipality were withdrawn.
