Chisinau Council to assemble for meeting Friday
The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) will assemble for a meeting on Friday, September 14. The local councilors will examine the agenda proposed at the previous meeting on July 20, Council’s Secretary Valeriu Didencu told Info-Prim Neo.
The CMC secretary mentioned that, after discussing with the political group leaders, there should be enough attendants to have a quorum. According to Valeriu Didencu, the last meeting’s agenda was only approved as a basis, so that the councilors can still exclude or add some items.
The first matter on the agenda is to grant councilor mandates. Another important issue is to approve the composition of the specialized commissions for different fields of activity. Another project proposed refers to the approval of local taxes and of the tax for registered vehicle owners. Additionally, the matter of Termocom’s reorganization concept will also be discussed.
At the latest meeting on July 20, the Liberal Party group walked out of the meeting hall over misunderstandings regarding the reorganization of the heat and hot water utility Termocom.
