The Chisinau Municipal Council on February 7 took cognizance of the assignment of two seats of councilor. Valentina Tapes and Viorel Chivriga entered the CMC based on the lists of substitute candidates of the electoral bloc “European People’s Platform of Moldova – Iurie Leanca” and will replace Oazu Nantoi and Victor Lutenco, who vacated their seats earlier, IPN reports.

Valentina Tepes will be included in the commission on social protection, healthcare, education, culture, the mass media and interethnic relations, while Viorel Chivriga in the commission on public utilities, energy, technical services, transport, communications and ecology.

The decision to assign the two seats of councilor was adopted by the Central Election Commission on January 30 this year.
