The construction of three apartment buildings in Chisinau will be suspended. The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) asked to withdraw the authorizations to build apartments at 1 Ion Creanga, Andrei Doga 32/2 and Nicolae Dimo 1. A decision to this effect was approved in the February 18 meeting of the CMC, IPN reports.

The councilors also requested to suspend the construction works at Decebal 70 and Decebal 72/2, where the Sports Olympic Reserve School is situated, for a period of 30 days.

The councilors decided to set up a working commission to modify the methods of allocating plots of land owned by the CMC and of authorizing constructions in Chisinau, used between 2011 and 2015. The commission consists of seven persons - six councilors and a representative of civil society. It will systematize all the materials about the building sites where the construction works were suspended and will present its report and proposals to the CMC by April 30, 2016.
