The Chisinau City Council’s sitting slated for today has been postponed until further notice. The meeting lacked a quorum, after only 9 out of 51 councilors showed up, IPN reports.
The next sitting’s date will be announced after the Council groups consult.
Today’s order of the day included, among other, land sale and lease issues, and voting on the Rules of Conducting Trade Activity in Chisinau Municipality.
The councilors were also supposed to discuss changes to the 2017 City Budget, steps to intensify disaster management efforts, and grant certain powers to Deputy Mayor Nistor Grozavu.
