Eremei Priseajniuc, senior state adviser in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Pavel Filip, became a member of the Chisinau Municipal Council after Ruslan Codreanu vacated his seat of councilor to serve as deputy mayor, IPN reports.

Priseajniuc told the journalists that the two posts are compatible and he will thus hold both of them simultaneously.

Eremei Priseajniuc was named senior state adviser to the Premier on corruption fighting and activity of law enforcement agencies last February. Earlier, he held the post of adviser to the Prime Minister in the Filat and Leanca Governments.
