Conductors on trolleybuses in Chisinau sell tickets on which '1.25 lei' is written against 1 leu. The deputy manager of the Trolley Company, Alexandra Vasiliev, has told Info-Prim Neo the Chisinau City Hall allowed it to sell such tickets that it has in stores. She underlines the conductors are instructed not ask 1.25 lei from travelers. Now the company is expecting tickets with the right price of 1 leu from a printing house. The Transport Electric company printed 1.25-lei tickets in 2006, when it expected the Municipal Council to raise the fare on public conveyance which was 0.75 lei then. As of 1 August 2006 traveling by trolley in Chisinau costs 1 leu, by bus – 2 lei, and by minibus – 3 lei. On July 21, 2008, the company Ruta-Prim launched commercial buses on route 122. Their fare is 3 lei.
