Chisinau City Hall to hear citizens daily
The City Hall of Chisinau municipality will admit citizens to audience on a daily basis. According to an ordinance from interim mayor Veaceslav Iordan, public hearings will be held daily in all the subdivisions of the City Hall by people in charge, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the Public Relations Department, the hearings will be held daily, from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm and 1.00 pm – 4.00 pm. Under the ordinance, each subdivision of the City Hall will designate a person responsible of the petition examination and hearing of citizens.
At the same time, Iordan has also approved the new schedule regarding the hearing of the citizens by the City Hall’s leadership. Thus, interim mayor will have audiences on the fourth Monday of the month, from 2.00 pm to 7.00. Vice mayor Petru Svet will hold audiences on the second Monday, while vice mayor Alexandru Corduneanu on the third Monday, at the same hours.
Interim Secretary of the Chisinau Municipal Council, Nicolae Manastarli, is responsible for the enforcement of the present ordinance’s provisions.
Earlier, according to an ordinance of former interim mayor Vasile Ursu, the Information and Documentation Centre for citizens, where people in charge within municipal services are working daily, opened on July 13, 2006, in an attempt to facilitate the citizens’ access to public services and eliminate corruption from the capital’s administration.
