Chisinau City Hall sums up results of first stage of “First House” program
The first stage of the “First House” program will be assessed in a meeting at the City Hall on January 21, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a communiqué from the City Hall, the meeting will involve members of the program’s social analysis commission, representatives of commercial banks that finance the project and construction companies involved in the works.
Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca will have a meeting with the first 100 beneficiaries of apartments bought through the agency of the program.
The meeting will take place at the City Hall starting at 1pm.
The “First House” program was launched in 2010. Initially, it covered only new apartments in blocks erected on plots allocated by the City Hall. Afterward, the package of offers was extended to attic-like apartments and old apartments. The loans released within the program are repaid in 10 to 30 years at an interest rate of 9% a year. Until the loan is repaid, the purchased apartments are pledged with the bank.
