The employee of the Chisinau City Hall’s Land Division Ion Golban, who was detained for taking bribe on February 28, was dismissed. He worked as a senior specialist and had a length of service with the local public administration of over 15 years, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the City Hall. The Land Division employee asked for €500 from a person for issuing documents confirming the ownership right over a plot adjoining a private house. Another employee of the Division, Vasile Ungureanu, who is investigated as a suspect in a criminal case concerning corruption, was suspended until the court passes judgment in this case. The senior specialist of the Cadastre and Land Relations Division Vlad Cozma was also fired, in accordance with the Law on the Public Post and the Status of Public Servant, and the Law on the Conflict of Interests.
