The children resting in the Vadul lui Voda summer camps are evacuated. The water level in the Nistru is keeping rising because of heavy rains falling these days as there is danger of flooding. Also on Saturday, till 21.00, the remaining people in the resorts on the Nistru’s banks will be evacuate. The access to the leisure areas has been restricted, Info-Prim Neo reports. The children evacuated from the Vadul lui Voda camps are lodged in lycees and schools in Ciocana sector of Chisinau. Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb, the chief of the Education Direction, told an extraordinary sitting of the municipal emergency commission the entities in Ciocana were adequately fitted and there were no obstacles for the children to rest. The head of Chisinau’s Emergency Service, Silviu Musuc, says they can evacuate all the resting children in Vadul lui Voda at once with 15 buses. In case the water supplying station in Vadul lui Voda is flooded, Apa-Canal Chisinau will pump water from underground wells and in this case water will be delivered according to a schedule. On Saturday, the president of the Chisinau Municipal Council, Eduard Musuc convened the councilor. Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca, who is also the head of the Emergency commission, told them the situation was under control. After presenting his report, the mayor was to leave for Vadul lui Voda to take charge of the operation.
