Victor Corman, a senior specialist within the municipal Architecture Division, was suspended from post by Mayor General Dorin Chirtoaca. He is accused of illegally building two annexes to the house and of threatening the neighbors with prison if they cause him problems, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I ordered suspending Corman from his post and performing an internal inquiry. He should be dismissed for what he did, while the construction works should be stopped for the period of the trial,” Dorin Chirtoaca said after meeting with persons who complained about Corman’s acts. A year ago, Victor Corman bought a house on Brancoveanu St in Chisinau and shares the yard with two neighbors. He illegally built two annexes larger than the house and started to threaten his neighbors in order to get the whole yard. The yard is about 5 ares in area.
