Chisinau City Hall and Foreign Ministry will have joint tent on May 12
The Chisinau City Hall and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration will put up a joint tent in the Great National Assembly Square on May 12, when Moldova will start to celebrate Europe Days, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Gabriela Ciumac, the head of the municipal Foreign Relations, Regional Cooperation and European Integration Division, said the joint tent will represent a number of associations, including the Association of Craftsmen and the Association of Beekeepers. There will be presented national costumes, honey and different things made from wax, projects implemented in concert with the EU.
Those who will come to the Great National Assembly Square on May 12 will be able to receive information about the European languages, culture and traditions, taste foods of EU Member States, and learn key words and phrases in different European languages. There will be held two public debates on political and economic aspects of the cooperation between the EU and Moldova. They will involve EU ambassadors and high-ranking Moldovan officials. A similar program will be staged in Comrat on May 19.
Europe Days in Moldova will be celebrated in Chisinau and Comrat on May 12 – 19.
