Chisinau City Hall is analyzing the offer to purchase 13 trolleybuses from Lucerne, Switzerland. Discussions on a possible purchase were held at the invitation of the public transportation company "Verkehrsbetriebe Luzern AG", within a delegation led by Deputy Mayor Ilie Ceban, IPN reports.
The 13 trolleybuses are of the Hess brand. Ten of them are of 18 meters and three of 24 meters. They are currently in operation on Lucerne routes.
The negotiations between the company and the Chisinau City Hall are expected to take place in the first semester of 2026.
