Chisinau City Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca received public audience for the first time in the session hall of the Chisinau City Council (CMC). Until now the citizens were able to express their opinions on city matters every Friday in the Centre for Information and Documentation. According to Public Relations Department, the reason for this change is the Mayor’s intention to ensure transparency in the City Hall’s activities, as well as the intention to solve the problems of the citizens. “Already 600 citizens have registered for audience”, Dorin Chirtoaca said. During the public hours, the Mayor was assisted by experts from CMC and City Hall’s divisions. Chisinau citizens expressed their problems on the microphone, which were discussed publicly. The citizens were also able to discuss with the Mayor in private.
