The beaches at the three leisure parks in Chisinau are beautified starting from Monday, June 23. The information was made public by Eliferie Haruta, the chief of the Spatii Verzi municipal enterprise at the sitting of the City Hall this Monday, Info-Prim Neo reports. The sand was to be replaced last week, but the rains flooded the pit it was extracted from. Till the end of this week, 18 trucks of sand will spread on the peach in La Izvor park. The clothes-change booths are already installed. On May 23, the Municipal Council decided to allocate 1.29 million lei to get ready those three leisure areas of the capital: La Izvor, Valea Trandafirilor and the aquatic basin in Rascani sector. The money was meant to buy 2,500 tonnes of sand. Then, Eliferie Haruta told Info-Prim Neo the works were to finalize by mid-June.
