Chisinau bank employee dies at workplace
The employee of a Chisinau bank suffering from cardiovascular diseases died Sunday at the workplace.
Eufalia Negreata, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 54-year-old man worked as head of guard at Energbank. He was on duty when he felt chest pains and had hypertension. Two ambulance crews fought to save the man, but he died.
An unidentified man in his 30s was found in a critical condition in the baseman of a house on Ismail Street. He had signs of violence on his body. The ambulance doctors established that the man suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma, concussion and was in a coma of the second degree. He was rushed to the Emergency Hospital. A police investigation is under way.
A 40-year-old man suffering from mental disorders stabbed himself in the left hemithorax, touching the sternum. He was hospitalized.
On Sunday, February 21, the Chisinau Ambulance Service dealt with 756 calls, including 93 cases of acute viral infection, eight cases of flu, 58 cases of trauma, three strokes, seven acute coronary syndromes and 12 deliveries.
