The internal works at the Chisinau Arena Complex are close to an end. Procedures are now performed to test the systems and equipment and to check the functionality of the complex’s infrastructure, Prime Minister Ion Chicu stated during a meeting convened to familiarize himself with the pace of works, IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press service, the meeting centered on the scenarios for the construction of access ways given that a road bypassing Chisinau is to be built in the region.
Premier Chicu requested the officials in charge to concentrate their efforts on the distributed activities so as to put the Chisinau Arena into operation on May 1, 2020. “It is a national complex awaited by sportspersons, artists and especially by young people. You must meet the set deadlines,” he stated.
