The political representatives to the Transnistrian conflict settlement process of Chisinau and Tiraspol, Victor Osipov and Vitalii Iganatyev, had a working meeting in Tiraspol. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the participants in the talks in the 5+2 format. The interlocutors agreed that the working group on ecological problems should prepare the signing of a protocol decision on cooperation in the protection of the environment and the rational use of natural resources, IPN reports.

As regards the crossing of the state Moldovan-Ukrainian border by vehicles with Transnistrian license numbers, Victor Osipov said a solution should be identified so as to meet the international requirements in this field. The Deputy Prime Minister insisted that the Transnistrian side should obey the international insurance policies Green Card owned by persons from other states.

An important issue discussed was the coordination of the agenda of the Bavarian Conference on Confidence Building Measures that was set to take place in Germany on October 29-30.
