Chisinau and Tiraspol continue to wrangle over Tighina police station
Representatives of Chisinau and Tiraspol Thursday will discuss the Transnistrian authorities' intention to remove the Moldova police station located in Tighina and the new rules for military observers,” Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to Ion Leahu, Chisinau's representative to the Joint Control Commission, the Military Command will render a report on the situation during the last seven days in the security zone at an ordinary meeting of the Commission.
Though the agenda has not been approved by the time the news story was published, Leahu said that as there are no new problems, they will examine the older ones. “We will discuss such issues as the police station in Tighina and the separatist authorities' intention to remove it and the new regulations for military observers,” he said.
