The General Public Amenities Division launched the project “Comfortable Yard” that envisions the laying out of 35 yards in the districts of Chisinau and fitness or workout grounds.

Contacted by IPN for details, Vasile Efros, division head at the General Public Amenities Division, said there will be set up 17 playgrounds and the rest will be fitness/workout grounds.

So far, a playground was set up at 55/3 Hâncești St and another one is being built at 62 Șt. cel Mare și Sfânt Blvd. The fitness/workout grounds at 11/2 and 7/2 Al. Russo St are under construction. The works last for about four days on average.

The 35 addressees were chosen by the district head’s offices.

According to Vasile Efros, by about 10 million lei will be allocated from the budget for playgrounds and for fitness/workout grounds.
