The Chisinau municipal budget was augmented by 2.91 million lei as a result of land sales. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Vadim Branzaniuc, a member of the auctioning commission, said there were auctioned six plots of land on which to build private houses. They did not exceed 500 square meters in area. There were by three bidders for every plot. The initial price was 150,000-200,000 for everyone. It was the second outcry land auction so far this year. Land on which to erect apartment buildings to the value of over 20 million lei was sold in the first auction. “A new list of plots that will be put up for auction will be submitted to the Chisinau Council at the next meeting,” said Vadim Branzaniuc.
