Works to prepare the housing sector for the cold season and the education institutions for the new school year are carried out in Chisinau. The municipal division drew up the expenditure estimates, signed contractors with contractors and initiated the repair works, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Petru Gontea, director of the Public Amenities Division, 56% of the planned roof repair works have been executed until present and will be completed until the start of the cold season. The municipal services carried out 87% of the preparatory works on piping systems. According to Gontea, the extensive repair works in the housing sector will cost more than 20 million lei this year. The head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb said that practically all the contracts for the repair of the roofs of education institutions have been signed. The roofs of 48 institutions will be repaired overall, at a cost of 6.7 million lei. Repair works are being performed in schools.
