The Chisinau City Hall initiated a public discussion on the color of the trolleybuses that will be purchased by the municipal authorities next year. The residents of Chisinau are asked to express their opinion by email, on drp@pmc.md, on the City Hall’s website, in the comments division, or on the phone number 20-17-08. The deadline for applications is December 5, Info-Prim Neo reports. The contract for the purchase of 102 new trolleybuses was signed by the City Hall with the Belarusian company Belkomunmash SA early in November. The trolleybuses will be delivered in four batches. The first will be brought to Chisinau by next February, while the last by next May. The cost of the project is €13.7 million, including €0.7 million technical assistance. €5 million represents a loan from the EBRD, another €5 million – a loan from the EIB, while €3million was provided by the European Union as a grant.
