The first Economic Forum will be staged in Chisinau on September 30 – October 1. The Chisinau City Hall said the event is a platform for discussions and debates on the investment and development potential of the municipality, IPN reports.
“The forum will bring together over 500 guests, representatives of the business community, the academia and the NGO sector, experts in different economic fields, foreign investors and donors and official delegations of twinned cities and partner cites and is designed to offer a platform of discussions and debates on the investment and development potential of the municipality of Chisinau,” noted the municipality.
The Chisinau Economic Forum will center on the challenges faced and opportunities enjoyed by investors in the municipality of Chisinau, urban development from the angle of entrepreneurs, Chisinau as a Green City, Chisinau as an Intelligent City, mobility and urban tourism, sustainable development of the municipality.
There will be presented the strategy for developing the capital city for 2020-2030 and the investment map of the municipality of Chisinau, which includes over 60 attractive investment objects from among real estate, financial, social, educational and recreational facilities. There will also be discussed public-private partnerships for modernizing public lighting, implementation of e-ticketing and electronic parking, easing of traffic by introducing alternative transport, management of solid waste and other issues.
